So the flower motif found a home, but only by accident. I had been trying to find a sundress to crochet like the knitted Victoria Sundress at Berroco. I'd tried at Crochetville, Crochet Pattern Central, and Google, all to no avail. So I figured, @$%& it, I'll design one myself. And so I did. I took measurements from a dress in Sears and came home to figure out the increases. The dress is made out of breathable cotton, but is heavy enough to stay down on windy days. And the straps are buttoned in place, so they can be crossed or straight, as well they can be raised and lowered to fit. I apologize profusely for the state of the photograph. Crappy cameras yeild crappy photos!

That is very nice. And thanx for the pattern.
Yasmin.
Just wanted to thank you and let you know that I am using your pattern to teach my student:) I wanted to ask a quick question :- under armhole shaping you have said to work one sc in each dc where the first row has only sc.. I am guessing its just a typo and another typo is where you have said (quote)
"Armhole Shaping
Row 1 - Skipping 6 stitches, join yarn with slst to 7th dc, sc1, sc in same stitch and each stitch across, leaving last 6 stitches unworked. Turn."(unquote)
should the sc1 have been ch1?
Thanks so much for writing this up!!!

So cute!
Vims, thanks for the headsup about the typo. You were right and I've fixed it.
Thanks for the comments, too.
How cute is this! Do you know approx. what size this is? I would love to make it for my twin granddaughters..Thanks for sharing!Michelle De Groat
That is really great, my neice would love something like this!
Such a great pattern. I am going to get one started for my daughter today! Thank you!
What size is the Cotton Sundress?
It's in the finished measurements, Finished Measurements - Chest 24" (size 4), Shoulder to hem 23".
According to Yarn Forwards site (http://www.yarnfwd.com/main/childsiz.html), that's about 4years with no ease. I originally made it for my 2yo niece and she was able to wear it for a few years...eventually as a shirt.
